SAN DIEGO, CA – Canter Brokerage, a San Diego-based real estate company, has announced that it will be hosting their “Here Today, Cabo Tomorrow” charity event in support of Embrace on April 10, 2013 from 5:30-7:30pm. The event will serve as the conclusion to the company’s “Here Today, Cabo Tomorrow” contest that gives away a Cabo vacation to a real estate agent who has been entered by showing a Canter Brokerage listing this year.
The event will be held in a privately occupied portion of the Del Mar restaurant, En Fuego. The restaurant will showcase specialty drinks for the event that will benefit Embrace’s H3 Program, which restores homes for local disabled veterans. “Embrace’s H3 Program is an incredible cause that we are eager to support,” said Canter Brokerage Director, Luke Middleton, “we have immense gratitude to the men and women that serve our country and we are honored to have the opportunity to contribute to their well-being.” The event will also include the “Here Today, Cabo Tomorrow” vacation giveaway as well as a silent auction to further support the program.
Embrace’s H3 program utilizes college students to restore the homes of low-income, disabled veteran homeowners. The program’s goals are to create a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic service learning experience for college students, connect young adults to veteran community members in need, raise awareness of low income, disabled veterans, and increase the value and efficient use of their homes.
